That’s right kids free money. Were to find it? In your owners manual of course. Even a master mechanic has something to learn from that most overlooked item in the glove box. So follow your assignment and seek it out, it might just save you some $$$$$. You might just learn something too. As always stay up to date at EricTheCarGuy.com ericthecarguy.com Play nice!
@sndd0138
get those dirty gloves away from that owners manual!
Those are good books however they weren’t written by the people that made the car. Believe it or not, it does make a difference. In other words if the Chilton told me one thing and the owners manual told me another I would go with the owners manual. I’m weird like that. Thanks for the comment.
Yes i do mistreat the owners manual, but i do have some backing because i have read a chilton and haynes manual for my truck =)
lol right
Lets hope it’s under warranty, at least you can prove you followed the maintenance schedule outlined by the manufacturer.
Dealer: Your transmission fluid is pitch black It should be flushed
You: The people that made this car sad it shouldnt be changed before xx,xxx miles
Dealer: but the fluid in your transmission should be red to prolong the life of your transmission i recomend changing it
You: Hey listen here the people who made this car wrote this in my manual AND I READ THAT IT SHOULDNT BE CHANGED YET!
You: ring ring ring ring
Dealer: Hello
You: Hi Id like to make an apointment to have my transmission looked at
I have seen it but if you read the fine print they say under “normal” conditions, I’m not sure what this is really. In my opinion you could go that long but I prefer to do it by 5K in my cars.
now ,what do u think about the 7,500mile oil change??? i do not think the where thinking on this one!! read learn!!!! so true thanks
Yes! and badly played at that. I was hoping someone would get the “I’m broken” part of the theme. Well done.

I don’t know why I didn’t see this comment before. I have shot a vid on window regulator replacement. (for sale later this summer). Lube might help, silicone paste. Old gas can be a problem, try fuel stabilizer. Try to drive the car more, cars that sit are worse off than ones that get driven hard every day. As for shadetree, in a way that is how I started out 20 some years ago.

You are to kind. I will be getting to AC when the weather gets warmer. I actually have more stuff than I post right now and plan to keep it that way. I’m going to cover most of the basic stuff on the channel and put the more in depth stuff on DVD and sell them off my website.
I am properly shamed that I’ve only skimmed a few things. I really wish YT would let me have another Playlist on my channel. I’d slap these babies right in there. You present these instructions very well!
I will be hitting you up with an air-conditioning problem soon
Well the way I see it the average labor cost for electrical diagnosis at least in my neck of the woods runs in the neighborhood of $80-$100 per hour, since I promised you only $20 the way I figure it you owe me at least $60.

Owner’s Manual? Look, the fluid levels are eay enough. When the fluid starts to overflow stop adding. Who needs an owner’s Manual?
LARFYLARF!
Thank you, I’m here for you my friend.
Really interesting. You certainly know a lot about cars. Great video. 5 stars
